Jay Nuss, a principal of Paramount Partners, LLC, is a real estate broker with over twenty-five years of experience in the commercial real estate brokerage business. Specializing in office and industrial properties, he has negotiated transactions on warehouse buildings, mill buildings, nursing homes, research and development buildings, retail centers, medical buildings, mixed-use properties, school buildings, churches, vacant land and various properties owned by non-profit organizations. He also has extensive experience in appraising and consulting on various types of commercial real estate.

With a Bachelor of Science degree from Northeastern University, he is also a graduate of the Realtors Institute and has completed various commercial real estate courses and seminars at MIT, Harvard University, Boston University and Northeaster University. He has also been a Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager.

Jay has a high profile in the Braintree area and is actively involved in several civic and business organizations that include: The Braintree Business Council of which he is the past chair; alternate member of the Zoning Board of Appeals; member of the Braintree Board of Trade; past president of the Braintree Rotary Club where he is distinguished as a Paul Harris Fellow; member of the Knights of Columbus.

He has also been a member of the Work, Inc. Board of Directors serving as its Vice-Chairperson and is a member of the Northeastern University Graduate Honor Society.

In his spare time he runs a voluntary service which matches up cancer patients with alternative treatment programs. He is currently working with Kathy & Ralph Tedeschi on a project to construct the first not-for-profit hospice home on the South Shore.

Married with two children, Jay has been extremely involved in various youth community service projects and sports programs.
